2026-27 Day Off Camp - Geology Rocks- 1/18

A Welcome Letter/Gear List with more information will be emailed to all registered families the week before each camp.

Ages 5-12

Pre-registration is required ~ You must register by 1 PM on Friday, January 15.


Time: 9:00AM – 4:00PM (Aftercare available until 6PM for an additional $30 per day)

Monday, January 18th, 2027 – Geology Rocks!

Rocks and minerals are everywhere, and students will have the opportunity to learn about them first-hand.  This Day Off Camp will include a series of station-based, hands-on activities, which teach students how to identify rocks and minerals by using observations and experiments. We will explore the basics of the rock cycle and the significance of these natural resources in our daily lives. Participants will walk away with the beginnings of their very own rock collection and know-how on identification.

Cancellation Policy
Irvine reserves the right to cancel any event due to insufficient enrollment or extreme weather. If Irvine cancels an event, all registrants will be notified via the email they registered with, and all registration fees will be fully refunded.

Full payment is required at time of registration.

If you withdraw your child from camp for personal reasons, membership fees are nonrefundable and camp fees are refunded as follows:

21 or more days before camp: 50% of camp fee refunded

20-14 days before camp: 25% of camp fee refunded

13-0 days before camp: No Refund
