Weekly Warbler Walks
Irvine’s mix of woods, wetlands, and meadows make it a top local birding destination. Enjoy the peak of spring bird migration and a chance to see orioles, warblers, tanagers, and more on these weekly walks with Irvine’s Director of Education and lifetime birder, Brian Rollfinke.
No prior birding experience necessary!
Why wait to wander a winding way through the woods? Winter wanes! Warmer weather and wafting winds whisk waves of weary-winged warblers to our woodlands and waders to our wetlands! What could be more wonderful than waking to witness the warm woodwind whistles of the wood thrush, while watching woodpeckers whack on walnuts, waxwings work the wineberries, and waterthrushes wolf down worms?
