Seeds: Swap, Stratify, and Sow

Celebrate National Seed Swap Day at Irvine. Native plant seeds collected at Irvine and other locally sourced seed will be available at the swap. If you have any native plant seed, vegetable, or herb seeds you’re willing to swap, bring them along. Learn what it takes to make sometimes-fussy native seeds germinate, as we prepare any seeds that require scarification or stratification and make a tray of winter sown seeds to take home.

Cancellation Policy
Irvine reserves the right to cancel any event due to insufficient enrollment or extreme weather. If Irvine cancels an event, all registrants will be notified via the email they registered with, and all registration fees will be fully refunded.

Full payment is required at time of registration.

If you need to withdraw for personal reasons and notify us more than 48 hours before event, you can request a full refund minus a 10% processing fee.

NO refunds for no-shows or last-minute withdrawals (less than 48 hours notice).
