Playing with Fire for Women

Learn the art of fire building in a fun and supportive environment. Discover where to find dry wood and tinder even in winter and how to build and start a fire. Try using ferro rods, experiment with everyday fire-starting materials from lip balm to hand sanitizer and much more. Dress for the weather but we will keep a kettle on the fire for hot drinks.

Canceled in event of rain or icy conditions.

Individuals who identify as trans, gender-neutral, or non-binary are welcome to attend.

For Adults and Teens 14+

Cancellation Policy
Irvine reserves the right to cancel any event due to insufficient enrollment or extreme weather. If Irvine cancels an event, all registrants will be notified via the email they registered with, and all registration fees will be fully refunded.

Full payment is required at time of registration.

If you need to withdraw for personal reasons and notify us more than 48 hours before event, you can request a full refund minus a 10% processing fee.

NO refunds for no-shows or last-minute withdrawals (less than 48 hours notice).
