Kids' Outdoor Survival Skills
Get Outside this President's Day!
What would you do if you got lost in the woods? Learn some outdoor skills from how to build a survival shelter to safely starting a fire. Discover where to find dry kindling and what wood to burn so we can toast some marshmallows. Program will include the use of knives by demonstrating their proper use and importance of knife safety.
Ages 8-12
(Program is drop-off, but parents may stay to observe if they want.)
Dress for the weather including hat and gloves - program is held outside. Participants must wear masks when social distancing is not possible. Bring a water bottle. Program will be cancelled if minimum registration is not met.
**Pre-registration is required by 1 PM on Friday, 2/18**
