Turtle Talk!

Meet Naturalist Paige under the deck to talk about our terrific turtles! Enjoy this opportunity to meet some of our Maryland turtles housed here at Irvine. We will also take a trek to our wetlands to search for basking turtles—please bring boots/ waterproof footwear/shoes you don’t mind getting wet and muddy. Bring plenty of water, a hat and sunscreen. Our ponds are a 15 minute walk from the building.

Location: Under the Deck / Wetlands (Meet under the deck)

Cost: $10/person

*Please note: Due to the hike involved, this program is not suitable for younger siblings unless they will be in a carrier the whole time. Siblings attending in a carrier do not need to be registered.

Cancellation Policy
Irvine reserves the right to cancel any event due to insufficient enrollment or extreme weather. If Irvine cancels an event, all registrants will be notified and all registration fees will be fully refunded.

Full payment is required at time of registration.

If you need to withdraw for personal reasons and notify us more than 48 hours before event, you can request a full refund minus a 10% processing fee.

NO refunds for no-shows or last-minute withdrawals (less than 48 hours notice).
