Celebrate World Mud Day

Let's get messy and celebrate World Mud Day at Irvine! World Mud Day connects children around the globe to nature by getting them outdoors, observing nature, and playing in the mud. Help us make mudpies, mudcakes, mud scupture, and create mud-made faces on trees! Science has shown that handling mud and the soil of the earth has been shown to release serotonin in our brains--and this response helps to elevate mood--so roll up your sleeves and get ready to smile and be happy during this fun afternoon! Wear clothes and shoes that can get dirty--we will provide a hose that may be used to do preliminary washing up. See you then!
