Plant a 3 Sisters Garden
Visit Irvine’s Native American educational site to help with planting a traditional garden of sunflowers, corn, beans and squash. Listen to some Native American stories and discover how these plants help each other grow like three sisters. Learn how woodland Indians grew, harvested and prepared their crops as we try our hand at corn pounding. Then plant some seeds in pots take home.
Please note: The Native American site is a 15-20 minute walk from the parking lot.
All Ages, with Adult (Recommended 4+)
