Seasonal Insights and Community Acupuncture Sessions
This is a two-part event offered by Mend Acupuncture: a class and an acupuncture session. You can choose either or both.
We will start with an interactive class where we will describe the worldview that lies behind acupuncture: living in harmony with the change of the seasons, as we discuss the transition between the late summer/harvest season and the autumn. You'll be able to ask questions and see how a typical treatment happens at a local clinic (our partner, Mend Acupuncture), practice qi gong movements appropriate to both seasons, and taste herbal tea for the transition. You'll leave the class with tips, tricks, and tools to use in your own life to better live in balance with the seasons. After the class, you will have the opportunity to experience the relaxing and balancing benefits of acupuncture for yourself.
The class and acupuncture sessions will take place in the cozy, shaded Outdoor Classroom area, with a rain location under the deck. If you need assistance with traveling down stairs or traversing uneven terrain, please indicate so on your registration or contact Kate Galarza at GalarzaK@ExploreNature.org.
