Over the Frozen Ground: Nature's Engineers

Please register early; if class registrant minimums are not met, the class will be canceled at 1:00 PM on the Monday before (day before) the class is scheduled.

With birds' nests, squirrel dreys and animal dens as inspiration, we will spend the afternoon creating our own shelters or nests with nature's own supplies. Children will come home with lesson extensions for taking care of animals in the winter around their own yards and comunity spaces.

Ages:  5-9 years old (Must be 5 by the session date and cannot be 10 or older on that day)

Time: 1:00-4:00 PM

Cancellation Policy
Irvine reserves the right to cancel an education session due to insufficient enrollment. If Irvine cancels a session, all fees will be fully refunded. If you remove your child from a session before it begins, membership fees are non-refundable and the refunds are as follows:

Days Before Session Begins Refund Amount
21 or more days 50% of session fee
14 - 20 days 25% of session fee
0 - 13 days NO REFUND

Please note, Irvine does not provide refunds for missed days due to travel or illness.
