Bauer Explorers, Ages 10-14

Please register early; if class registrant minimums are not met, the class will be canceled at 1:00 PM on the Monday before (day before) the class is scheduled.

During this 2 hour class, we engage in place-based learning and hiking. Students may explore many topics such as land stewardship, wild plant identification and recipes, and natural arts- this session will focus on stream searching. How healthy is our stream? Our data will tell! Investigate and learn in our wetland habitat. Wear your boots to prepare for a wet exploration.  

 

Ages: 10-14 years old (Must be 10 by the session date and cannot be 15 or older on that day)

Time: 1:00-3:00 PM

Price: $30 - Membership discounts apply for Pacesetter level or above

Full year:

Irvine reserves the right to cancel any program due to insufficient enrollment or extreme weather. If Irvine cancels a program, all registrants will be notified via the email they registered with, and all registration fees will be fully refunded.

If you need to withdraw for personal reasons from the series and notify us more than 48 hours before the next class in the series, you can request a refund for the remaining classes minus a 10% processing fee. No refunds for no-shows or last-minute withdrawals (less than 48 hours notice) will be awarded.
