WILDERNESS SURVIVAL
What if . . .? Emergency preparedness is emphasized in this unique camp program. Through a variety of hands-on activities, students will learn skills such as basic navigation and map reading, shelter building, fire making and safety, water collection and filtering, and how to use natural resources to help survive an outdoor excursion, should unanticipated circumstances arise. While learning practical backcountry skills, campers will be encouraged to work together as a team to overcome challenges.
Camp includes 2 field trips on Tuesday and Wednesday, and a Thursday night campout.
