Description of Program: Come face-to-face with some of the ocean’s most fascinating and misunderstood predators through the incredible underwater photography and firsthand stories of longtime scuba diver Bill Band. Hear about his close encounters with sharks and other large marine animals in open water around the world. 

Discover the important role sharks play in keeping our oceans healthy, the threats they face, and why protecting them matters. Bill’s stunning images and remarkable experiences will take you beneath the surface for an unforgettable look at the world of sharks.

Speaker Bio: Bill Band has been scuba diving for more than 50 years.  Over the past 12, he has been seeking opportunities to dive with large marine animals around the world, focusing primarily on sharks.  Almost all his encounters are in open water without the use of a cage.

This event will include a buffet style dinner by Ace Catering and signature alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails by the French Paradox. Adults only please.
