SUMMER NATURE CAMP - EXPLORERS 

LIVING OFF THE LAND

9:00 AM to 4:00 PM  - Monday to Friday

Thursday Evening Late Night: Campers may stay until 7:30 PM for a cookout and fun! 

Before and After Care (8:00-9:00 AM & 4:00 - 6:00 PM) available for the week or day by day for an additional cost. 

AGES 7-9

 Campers will take a step back in time and learn all about the traditions and lifestyles of Maryland’s pre-colonial Native American tribes. Using Irvine’s replica longhouse, wigwams, and Three Sisters’ Garden as a backdrop, we’ll explore how Native Americans made optimal use of their natural resources to thrive as a community. To gain a genuine understanding of daily life in the Woodland Era, campers will learn about tool use, clothing, hunting and gathering, living structures, fire-making methods, communication and games through hands-on experience at engaging stations.

Before 2/18/2025 a discount of $24.75 will apply.
Cancellation Policy
Irvine reserves the right to cancel a camp session due to insufficient enrollment. If Irvine cancels a session, all fees will be fully refunded.

If you remove your child from a camp session before it begins, membership fees are non-refundable and camp fee refunds are as follows:

Days Before Session Begins Refund Amount
21 or more days 50% of camp fee
14 - 20 days 25% of camp fee
0 - 13 days NO REFUND
