Spring Little Birds Registration begins at

8:00 AM on Monday, January 12, 2026. 

Little Birds is designed for children ages 8 months through 3 years and their caregivers.

Young children are naturally curious about the world outside. There is so much to discover: sticks, pebbles, animals, plants, puddles! Irvine’s Little Birds builds upon this curiosity through a semester-long weekly class for children 8 months to 3 years alongside a caregiver. Together, children and their caregivers discover the wonders of wildlife through age-appropriate activities like live animal encounters, nature walks, songs, stories, and art experiences.

Minimum recommended age: 8 months

Maximum age: Three

Class Cost (Spring Session): $308.50 (non-member price) for the spring session. Members with a Pacesetter membership ($100.00) and above receive membership discounts on the cost of the class. 

Class Schedule: The 12 weeks of spring semester classes begin the week of February 16 and end the week of May 12, 2026*. There is no class on Wednesdays.

Class time: 10:00-11:30 AM

*Please note that for the Monday class there is no class on Monday, March 16 or Monday, April 6; the final day of the Monday class is Monday, May 18 and the make-up day for the Monday class, should Irvine cancel a class is Monday, June 1. 

The classes that occur on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday during the spring session have no class on:

 Please enroll in one class only. We utilize weekly themes, so content will be the same each day of the week.

Winter Little Birds Registration

Class Schedule: The 4 weeks of winter semester classes begin on Tuesday, January 13 and end the week of February 3.
