For children ages birth through 3 years and their caregivers.

Registration opens at 8:00 AM on Tuesday, January 21

Young children are naturally curious about the world outside. There is so much to discover: sticks, pebbles, animals, plants, puddles! Irvine’s Little Birds builds upon this curiosity through a semester-long weekly class for children birth to 3 years alongside a caregiver. Together, children and their caregivers discover the wonders of wildlife through age-appropriate activities like live animal encounters, nature walks, songs, stories, and art experiences.

The winter program will include time inside before heading out to the trails for outdoor experiences and is a perfect introduction to our approach to learning in The Nature Preschool.

Minimum age: Newborn 

Maximum age: Student cannot turn 4 before 4/10/25 for winter classes.

Class Cost: $307.50 (non-member price) for the spring session. Members with a Pacesetter membership ($100.00) and above receive membership discounts on the cost of the class. 

Class Schedule: Spring semester starts the week February 24, 2025 and ends the week of May 19, 2025. There is no class the week of April 14 to April 18. Make up days are during the week of May 26, except the Monday class, whose makeup day will be on Monday, June 2.

Class time: 10:00-11:30 AM

 Please enroll in one class only. We utilize weekly themes, so content will be the same each day of the week.

Little Birds Winter

Class Schedule: Winter semester starts the week January 14, 2025 and ends the week of February 11, 2025 (During this semester, there is no Monday class)

Class time: 10:00-11:30 AM
