Little Birds SINGLE DAY Weekend Classes 

For children ages birth through 3 years and their caregivers

Registration for spring classes opening soon!

A single day version of our popular caregiver and child class, Little Birds. Children birth to 3 years will delight in the natural world alongside a caregiver as we experience animal encounters, nature walks, songs, stories, and art. Sign up for just one single day class or all of them for the season. Classes will meet on two Saturdays and one Sunday for the winter session. This program may begin indoors during the winter, but includes primarily outdoor experiences and is a perfect introduction to our approach to learning in The Nature Preschool.  Spring single event dates will be added in the future. 

Ages: Birth to 3 years old (Cannot be 4 or older on day of class)

Times: Most classes meet 10-11:30 am, but one session per season will meet 12:30-2pm. Please see each class description for time.

10:00 am -11:30 am-December 14 

12:30 pm-2:00 pm- January 25 

10:00 am -11:30 am- February 23 

12:30 pm-2:00 pm- March 22 

10:00 am -11:30 am- April 27 

10:00 am -11:30 am- May 10 

10:00 am -11:30 am- June 8 

Price: $25 per session (Membership discounts apply for Pacesetter level or above)

Saturday, Jan. 25 - Animals in Winter What do animals do in winter to stay warm? How do they stay cozy? Join us to learn about animal behaviours in the wintertime! 

Sunday, Feb. 23 - The Mitten!  *SOLD OUT (Waitlist Available)* Come listen to the classic children's story of The Mitten by Jan Brett! Learn whether or not you can fit inside a mitten along with a lot of animal friends! 

Saturday, Mar. 22 - Maple Magic!  Mmmm--maple sugar tastes so good! Come find tapped trees, drill into logs, and taste some yummy syrup!

Sunday, April 27 - Welcome Spring! It's spring! Life is blooming all around. Come and see what has changed since the fall and join us on a magical springtime hike!

Saturday, May 10 - Mud Day  Join us for an ooey gooey day of digging, splashing, and tracking in the mud! Make sre to wear your mud boots! 

Sunday, Mar. 22 - Summer Stroll  Ease out of spring and into summer with us! Join us for a morning of hands-on nature exploration and shady walk in the woods.
