Little Birds SINGLE DAY Weekend Classes

For children ages birth through 3 years and their caregivers

A single day version of our popular caregiver and child class, Little Birds. Children birth to 3 years will delight in the natural world alongside a caregiver as we experience animal encounters, nature walks, songs, stories, and art. Sign up for just one single day class or all of them for the season. Classes meet on alternating weekend days. This program includes primarily outdoor experiences and is a perfect introduction to our approach to learning in The Nature Preschool. Winter and spring single event dates will added in the future. 

Ages: Birth to 3 years old (Cannot be 4 or older on day of class)

Times: Most classes meet 10-11:30 am, but one session per season will meet 12:30-2pm. Please see each class description for time.

10:00 am -11:30 am  September 8 

12:30 pm-2:00 pm for October 19

10:00 am -11:30 am  November 10

Price: $25 per session (Membership discounts apply for Pacesetter level or above)

Sunday, Sept. 8 - Hello Nature!  Hello Nature! Come join us in welcoming the outdoors all around us. What natural treasures can you find outside? What does nature mean to you and your family? Trail along to find out!”

Saturday, Oct. 19 - Night Animals Owls, bats, and foxes, oh my! The forest is full of interesting nocturnal animals. Come join us for an afternoon of learning about all things nighttime. 

Sunday, Nov. 10 - Falling Leaves! Fall is here! Come check out the beautiful colors as we make art with leaves, and even jump in a pile or two on our colorful hike!
