Little Birds Weekend Classes

For children ages birth through 3 years and their caregivers

A weekend version of our popular caregiver and child class, Little Birds. Children birth to 3 years will delight in the natural world alongside a caregiver as we experience animal encounters, nature walks, songs, stories, and art. Sign up for just one monthly session or the whole series. Classes meet on alternating weekend days. This program includes primarily outdoor experiences and is a perfect introduction to our approach to learning in The Nature Preschool.

Ages: Birth to 3 years old (Cannot be 4 or older on day of class)

Times: 10:00am-11:30am

Price: $25 per session (Membership discounts apply for Pacesetter level or above)

CLASS FULL  Saturday, Nov. 11 Falling Leaves! Fall is here! Come check out the beautiful colors as we make art with leaves, and even jump in a pile or two on our colorful hike!

CLASS FULL Sunday, Jan. 21 Welcome Winter! Welcome the chill! Who knew ice makes a great canvas for paint? Join us for a day of icy fun and exploration as we explore the winter trails and learn how animals handle the season.  

CLASS FULL Saturday, Feb. 10 Stamping Down the Path Animals sometimes leave behind clues for us to find like tracks. Can we solve the mystery of the tracks? Come make your own tracks with art and mud!  

CLASS FULL- RESCHEDULED FOR APRIL 21 Sunday, Mar. 10 Maple Motion Mmmm Maple Sugar tastes so good! Come find tapped trees, drill into logs, and taste some yummy syrup!

CLASS & WAITLIST FULL  Saturday, June 8 Turtle Tots Meet a turtle friend and learn all about the reptiles that come out in the spring! Who slithers? Who crawls? Come see who we can find!
