Explorer: Ages 7-9

Children in our Explorer camps will cultivate a deeper understanding of the relationships between wildlife and their natural surroundings. A variety of environmental games, nature crafts, and interactive STEM activities will help illustrate the interconnectedness of the natural world and reinforce ecological concepts we’ve encountered in our daily explorations. Additionally, the Explorer camp will have the opportunity each week to engage in evening activities and/or campouts.  This age group has a camp offered every week. 

Please note: In order to receive a membership discount on summer camp, your membership must be at the Pacesetter level or above.

**If enrollment is full, you can register for the waitlist at the same link. There is no charge to be waitlisted, and spots often open up between now and summer.**

Can your almost-7-year-old enroll in Explorer Camp?

If their birthday is on or before September 30th, and you feel they are ready for an older camp, they may enroll in Explorer Camp. However, please keep in mind that camp themes and levels of activity are appropriate for ages 7-9, not 6, and do what is best for your child.
