Maryland is a true naturalist’s delight, home to thousands of plant and animal species, hundreds of caves, dozens of rivers and streams, ancient mountains, a dinosaur alley, numerous fossil beds, a world-class serpentine barren, and, of course, the Chesapeake Bay! Learn how colliding continents, folding rocks, rising mountains, melting glaciers and shallow seas all created the many habitats in which Maryland’s flora and fauna reside today.
Presenter: Rob Mardiney- Director of Education Irvine Nature Center
All events begin at 6:30 p.m., with the presentation starting at 7:15.
