FORAGING IN THE WOODS AND FIELDS: EARLY SPRING

Throughout history, wild herbs have been used as both medicine and an important source of nutrients.   Take an easy walk around Irvine to look for early spring plants and learn about their medicinal uses. We will discuss which greens can be collected to make a tasty spring salad and finish with a relaxing cup of herbal tea made from foraged plants.
